You can book hotel rooms up to 7 days in advance and find some really good deals, but the cheapest hotel rooms are going to be found by using Hotel Tonight the same day you are looking to check-in. Hotel Tonight is one of the best travel apps not only because you can find affordable hotel rooms at the best hotels, but also because it makes the experience so stress free and simple.
Most travel sites and travel apps are really difficult to navigate, take a long time to load, and inundate you with so many ads that you’re not quite sure what to click on. Hotel Tonight on the other hand gifts users with a clean and simple experience that makes it easy and satisfying to find good deals. If booking your hotel the same day is a little bit too close for you, don’t stress because you can still find some really awesome hotel deals 7 days ahead of time. There are a couple different ways you can search for hotels in the Hotel Tonight app; You can enter in a city or neighborhood and check out all the hotels available in that area, or you can enter in an exact address to see what hotels are around you. One of the coolest parts about Hotel Tonight is the the fact that everything loads up with lightning speed. Everybody has experienced the frustration that other travel apps and travel sites cause due to the long load times, so to see the hotels and prices populate so quickly is a relief and breath of fresh air. Another really awesome feature of Hotel Tonight is how it shows drive times on the map view when you enter an exact address. For example, if you are looking for hotel deals around 12345 Main Street, it will show you on the map where the hotel is, how much it costs, and how long it will take to drive there. This can be especially useful if you have kids, or annoying friends, in the car and everybody just wants to get somewhere quickly.
Within the image squares for each hotel it provides you with all of the relevant info – how much the room costs, an overall rating for that hotel, how many rooms are left, and the amount of money you are saving by using the app. Once you click on that hotel it quickly loads up a more detailed page that tells you some cool facts about why that hotel is worth staying at. It also gives you all of the necessary info like if it has complimentary WiFi, free parking, a gym, allows pets, etc. This is really important because it’s so annoying to have to call hotels to get this info; Sometimes you have to deal with an automated system and it just takes forever. If that wasn’t enough, the hotel info pages also provide you with real reviews from people who have stayed there along with various photos.
On the bottom of the screen there are a few simple icons, and one of them is for your “favorited hotels.” Each hotel has a little heart icon you can click, and when you click it that hotel is automatically added to your favorited page within the app. This makes it really easy to keep track of which hotels you like, that way you don’t need to take notes or screenshots and spend time trying to look through those. Once you find the hotel deal you like the best it is very easy to complete the reservation and lock it down. All you need to do is click “continue” and then it takes you through the reservation process. Sometimes when you book hotels online it can be very complicated because they ask you for all sorts of information and worry you about having to save confirmation numbers and check your emails to confirm things. With Hotel Tonight the process is smooth and painless, and instead of having to search through your email for info, everything you need is right there within the app along with maps to help guide your way.
After watching the video you can see how simple and easy it is to find affordable hotel rooms in the spur of the moment if need be. While planning ahead months in advance can have it’s benefits, so can waiting until the last minute. If you’re going to be traveling to a very popular and busy city for a special event or holiday then you may want to at least book your hotel 7 days or more in advance, but if that’s not the case then we strongly urge you to make plans to not make plans in advance. Waiting until hotels are desperate to fill rooms can save you more money than spending all that time on travel sites searching through the same deals that you see everywhere.
Those big name brand travel sites are so outdated. Not only are they really frustrating to use due to the load times and layouts, but a lot of times they don’t even offer the best deals. If you’re looking to book a flight, rent a car, and stay in a hotel than it might make sense, because most of those bigger travel sites and travel apps do offer package discounts as you book more stuff. However, if you’re just looking for a hotel room then Hotel Tonight is the way to go. You will be amazed at how discounted the rooms are, so much that it is worth waiting until the last minute and not knowing exactly where you’ll be staying. We do admit that it takes a certain type of adventurer to not plan ahead and book their hotel room in advance, but if you’re going to a city where you know there are lots of hotels then you have nothing to worry about. Hotel Tonight works with the major hotel chains and smaller boutique hotels, so there is really something for everyone. If you really are that nervous about it try doing a test run in that same area before the time comes, that way you can get an idea of how many rooms and hotels are available when trying to book the same day.
