Sports App Reviews
Sports has always been and will always be one of the main things that bring people together. Every country and culture has at least one sport that they love and that inspires children from a young age. This is why sports apps can be so fun and are so important. Whether you want to keep track of scores for your favorite teams, or get involved with daily fantasy sports leagues, sports apps can really help create some positivity in your day.
There are lots of different sports apps out there, and lots of them seem to have a lot of the same features and focuses. The key to a great sports app is when it works smoothly and is reliable. Nobody likes to have to manually refresh the page to see scores, and the slightest difference in design and layout can make all the difference.
Another big category for apps within the sports vertical are news video & article apps. Sites like Bleacher Report and ESPN have amazing apps that you’ve probably heard of, but there are may more that you probably haven’t heard. Our main goal when it comes to sports apps reviews is finding those low-key apps that not a lot of people have heard of, otherwise you are going to be reading the same articles and watching the same videos over and over again.
This is the main criteria we look at when reviewing sports apps:
- Usability – what is the user experience like? Is the app easy to navigate? Does it have ads all over the place making it annoying?
- Efficiency – how long does it take pages to load? How long does it take videos to render? Do score pages automatically refresh or do you have to do it manually?
- Market Position – does the app focus on one particular sport? Does it focus on one particular item such as scores, videos, articles, etc.? Does it offer something unique that other sports apps don’t?
- Cost – does it require a paid subscription? Can you upgrade so that you don’t have to deal with ads?
- Graphics – does the app look really cool and have graphics that are pleasing to the eye? Is the layout encompassed in a design frame that is user friendly and enjoyable to use?
